Arlanxeo was first established as a joint venture of Lanxess one of the world’s leading specialty chemical companies. Subsequently, Arlanxeo became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco.

The brief was to approach this as a single project but to house the 2 above companies, Arlanxeo and Lanxess, as 2 separate holdings due to compliance. The acquired site is just about 24000sqft in International Business Park. In addition, the main challenge was to execute the renovation of the office space through a live migration without disruption to ongoing business activities.

Arlanxeo comprises a workspace to include both open and private offices, numerous meeting rooms and a communal pantry/breakout space. The design focus was to achieve a functional layout to promote team functions adhering closely to their corporate workflow.
